What is Virtual Campus?
Virtual Campus is a virtual representation of Saint Leo University in Second Life. Second Life is an Internet-based virtual world launched in 2003, developed by Linden Research, Inc. The Saint Leo University and St Leo University Islands in Second Life are being used by some faculty for projects in real life. Advisors of the Center for Online Learning also enter Second Life if requested by students.Second Life is also a great place to show family and friends parts of real campus even if they can't come to Florida to see it.

This image is a replica of the admissions and security building. This is a great meeting area for students, staff, and faculty to meet up and hang out. The admissions building can be seen on the left and security building on the right.

This is a replica in Second Life of Lewis and Selby. Lewis is the bigger building on the right that has 3 floors and many classrooms. Selby is on the left and is an auditorium.

This is a replica of the Student Community Center in Second Life. It is a great place to hangout and holds many offices such as Residence Life.

This is a replica of Crawford Hall. This is a classroom building loaded with the newest technology so that the students and faculty can fully engage learning.
